Payment FAQ

Common checkout questions.

Review the answers below for guidance on authorizations, declined payments, order verification, and refunds.

Why was my payment declined?

A payment may be declined because of incorrect billing details, an expired card, insufficient funds, a transaction limit, a security restriction, or a decision made by the payment provider. Review the information entered and consult your bank or payment provider when the reason is unclear.

Why do I see a pending charge?

A pending amount can be an authorization placed by your payment provider while the transaction is reviewed or completed. If an unsuccessful payment created a temporary authorization, the release timing is controlled by your bank or payment service.

Can I change my payment method after ordering?

A completed order generally cannot be transferred to a different payment method. Depending on the order status, the available solution may require cancellation and a new purchase.

Why is additional verification required?

Your bank, wallet provider, or the checkout system may request additional authentication to confirm that the payment is authorized. This can include a one-time code, banking app approval, or another identity check.

Where will an approved refund be sent?

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the order. The time required for the amount to appear is determined by the payment provider, card issuer, or bank.

Does TrailPack store my full card number?

TrailPack does not receive or retain your complete card number as part of normal order administration. Sensitive payment credentials are handled through the secure payment services used during checkout.

What should I do if I notice an unfamiliar transaction?

Review your order confirmation and payment statement first. If the transaction remains unfamiliar, notify your bank or payment provider promptly so they can secure the account and explain the appropriate dispute process.

Need order assistance?

Bring your order details.

For help with a TrailPack payment or order, include your order number, the email used at checkout, and a clear description of the issue. Never send a complete card number, card security code, banking password, or one-time authentication code.
